Hi everyone! Welcome to my site! My name is Lauren Michelle and I am a civil engineering student in my third year at the University of Florida. Although I love what I am studying, my real passion is food. I like to call myself a recipe engineer and often daydream about being on the Food Network. |

When I came to college, I realized how limited food options are for students, you either eat delivery food or at the dining hall. After about my first straight week of delivery food, my wallet and stomach were hurting. I knew I had to make a difference! Equipped with my communal stove and sink in the dorms, I created quick and easy recipes that are money and time friendly. My goal is to make people feel comfortable in the kitchen, aware of easy ways to save money while grocery shopping and teach them cooking skills they will carry for life. |

Then came the hard part, sharing my knowledge with students everywhere at the same time as getting my engineering degree. If only I were related to Emeril, this would be easy! After many, many months of pondering, I finally figured out how to do it and thus College Bites was born. After watching College Bites, viewers should feel empowered to break away from unhealthy fast foods and cook on their own! I pour all of my love and passion for cooking into each minute, I hope you enjoy!
