This past week was the first ever Food Network Awards. In honor of the event, I hosted a viewing party and made some great appetizers as well as a drink and dessert. Go watch the new episode on the College Bites and check out the recipes. Enjoy!!

News for April 14, 2007

This past week I did my first live cooking demonstration! The video is available on the College Bites link. It was in the Hume Hall communal kitchen on the University of Florida campus. In front of a crowd of about 30 (there was standing room only!), I ignored all my nerves and tried to give the best demo possible. It was featured in Friday’s Independent Florida Alligator which has a daily circulation of about 35,000 all around UF and Gainesville! It will also be in Monday’s Gainesville Sun! Be sure to watch and enjoy learning how to cook 3 Asian style foods! All of the recipes are on the Recipes link.

- I added four new recipes this week! The Mac and Cheese and the Frozen Yogurt Parfait are made in Episode 4.

News for the week of March 4th, 2007:

- The time has finally come! Episode 2 titled Viva Italia! of College Bites is up! This episode is a little bit shorter but has outtakes, which I think are hilarious. I had so much fun filming (and eating) and I look forward to making many more.
- I have also updated the recipes page with the recipes from the new episode and also two other things I made for dinner last week. A great burger and my favorite, roasted brussel sprouts.
- The food tips page has new information. You will learn all about buying produce.
- There is also a new question posted, if you think of anything to ask, email me!
